Let’s face it, I’ve put both of my parents through hell. But with everything that we’ve gone through, they’ve always had my back and dealt with things the best way they knew how. Without their love and support…who knows?

I’m really stoked now. Every day, I work with them at Astrodeck and we laugh, argue, and just deal with our day-to-day lives and the random people and situations that come with it. Right now is just a really great time for me. For all of us, I think. And having my kid Greyson with me is just icing on the cake.

But, anyway, I just wanted to take this time to thank my mom. Really fucking thank her. She is the glue in our family that binds us all together. She’s stronger than any of us. Despite the fact that she’s been called Walter Hoffman’s daughter or Herbie Fletcher’s wife or Christian and Nathan’s mom or Greyson’s grandma, she’s the one and only Dibi and her presence and heart are bigger than any of ours combined.

I love my mom and I’m also very lucky to have her as a friend. I hope the rest of you are fortunate enough to have that with your moms and acknowledge it.

Note to readers: In case you’re wondering why there are so many grammatical errors as far as the content of some of these questions goes, that’s because I’ve left them as is. Well Christian I mostly come to FB and not websites but admit I do check out your mom’s Hey Dibi and those DSide interviews. If I could ask Dibi something, I’d want to ask her Prop 8, for or against? And for the Dside can we put in requests or suggestions about interview subjects? - Mike S.

Dibi: The thing I find scary about the issue, is that one judge can override the votes of 7,000,000 people. Our constitutional right to have a say is no longer relevant?!? WOW! And, sure, you can put in requests…but that doesn’t mean I can always pull it off. But I’m interested.

Dibi: Herb was really lucky and got to spend so much time playing with the boys, while I took them to the orthodontist, school, had the parent-teacher conferences, the visits to the principle, you know the job.
