Dibi: I think people generally think we’re much different than we are. We work hard, and are completely driven, have quirky senses of humor that others sometimes misunderstand. But I really don’t spend a lot of time analyzing what others think about us. It seems somewhat futile at this point.

Dibi: I can’t understand why any surfer would settle for inferior traction - unless he was paid big dough. Herb didn’t invent Chief Firewater. Being in America, the liability and restrictions on selling it, make it cost prohibitive. People always cry about “Made in America”. I can guarantee they’ve never made anything here and have no idea how difficult all the government regulation is. We did hats a long time ago, maybe it’s time for a comeback?
